Dire Straits was a British rock band whose best-known member, singer-guitarist-songwriter Mark Knopfler, is by far their most famous member. I think few people aren't familiar with Sultans of Swing, Private Investigations, Brothers in Arms, and Money for Nothing.

Making Movies is Dire Straits' third LP. The original LP was released in October 1980.
The most famous song is "Romeo and Juliet." Dire Straits' style changed slightly on this album,
telling more stories, resulting in long, complex songs.
