Johnny Cash
Actually, Johnny Cash needs no introduction. Johnny (J.R.) Cash was born on February 26, 1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas). Johnny Cash died on September 12, 2003, a few months after his second wife, June Carter. He is a country singer, guitarist, singer-songwriter, actor and author. He became known worldwide as The Man in Black and was notable for his deep baritone voice. He was probably one of the most influential singers, both within and outside the country genre.
At Folsom Prison
In 1955, Johnny Cash sang his song "Folsom Prison Blues". That's where the fascination with being admitted to a prison arose. This double LP Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison is Johnny Cash's first live album. The original release was on May 6, 1968. This double LP contains 16 titles, including two with his second wife June Carter. Live at San Quentin and At Folsom Prison are both legendary LPs.

Without a doubt, this is a beautiful live recording. Great atmosphere. Plenty of stage, details and the beautiful dark voice of Cash upfront.
