Geboren als Prince Rogers Nelson in Chanhassen, Minneapolis am 7. Juni 1958, gestorben am 21. April 2016. Er war ein amerikanischer Popkünstler in der Funk- und Rocktradition sowie Komponist, Gitarrist, Keyboarder, Bassist, Tänzer, Plattenproduzent, Filmregisseur und Schauspieler. Kurz gesagt, ein Multitalent.

Sign of the times
Sowohl Kritiker als auch Enthusiasten halten dies für sein bestes Album. Erwähnenswert sind bekannte Songs wie „U got the look“, „If I was your girlfriend“ und „The cross“. Darüber hinaus enthält dieses 4-LP-Album noch viele weitere Titel, darunter auch Single-Mixe und remasterte Edits. Für den Enthusiasten ist diese Box ein Muss.
