UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra
The UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra has been around since 1975 and has produced over 60 albums.
Woodwinds, trumpets, trombones, piano, drums, bass, tuba, horns, in short a large group.
The orchestra is conducted by Ed Partyka.

Last Dance
The LP contains four long compositions of around 12 minutes. The four titles are beautiful melodic stories. The song Para Nada has a foundation of brass and Flugelhorn that acts as a kind of tapestry and contrasts with the clarinet and piano.

Rating
With these Jazz compositions pressed on 180 grams, Neuklang delivers a beautiful audiophile product for Jazz enthusiasts and Jazz orchestras. The spatial recording is beautifully captured and despite the many instruments everything is easy to follow.
