Nils Frahm
The musician Nils Frahm, born in Berlin, Germany in 1982, cannot be confined to a single style. He blends Neo-Classical with instrumental electronic music. Over the years, I have seen a huge number of artists come and go. Until All Melody, I had never heard of Nils Frahm. Now we are listening to a live LP released by Leiter Verlag. For All Melody, he locked himself away for two years in Hall 3 of the Funkhaus in Berlin and built his own studio there. All the music was played using real instruments or created with real objects.
Paris
Nils Frahm wrote all the music for this live concert and performed as a solo artist.
The recording was done at Philharmonie Paris by Terence Goodchild. The recording dates from 2024.
Just like with All Melody, Nils draws you into his world of music with his recognizable blend of classical, electronic, and instrumental music. A beautiful journey.
Review
Despite the great music, we can conclude that this is not an audiophile recording.
