Jethro Tull
Jethro Tull are a British progressive rock band from Luton. The band around Ian Anderson was founded in 1967. Ian Anderson plays the flute, which is remarkable for a rock band. Incomparable to other rock bands. Or as Anderson describes it himself: "Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin are the best in their field, we fill the gaps".
Stand up
Originally released in 1969, Stand Up was their second album. Less blues than This Was with more influences from Jazz and Rock. This 10-track album is considered their first progressive rock album. The third song Bourée is based on a work by Johan Sebastiaan Bach and became a worldwide hit.
