Golden Earring
A Dutch rock band featuring drummer Cesar Zuiderwijk, lead singer Barry Hay, bassist Rinus Gerritsen, and guitarist George Kooymans. Formed in 1961 and disbanded in 2021 due to George's illness. Golden Earring is one of the few Dutch rock bands to achieve international success. It is also one of the world's oldest rock bands.

The Naked Truth
What makes *The Naked Truth* special is that the band accepted an offer to record an "all-acoustic" unplugged version. Recorded in 1992 at Grand Café "De Kroon" in Amsterdam, this live album perfectly captures the atmosphere of a grand café. Naturally, the double LP includes hits such as "Radar Love," "Another 45 Miles," and "Twilight Zone." The latter lasts nine minutes—though, for me, it could have gone on a bit longer. This is a double LP pressed on purple vinyl, limited to 2,000 individually numbered copies.

Review
A surprisingly well-recorded live album. As mentioned, the live atmosphere of a grand café is captured perfectly. It packs plenty of punch, and Golden Earring succeeds in presenting themselves—in their own words—as a "full-blooded, ass-kicking rock and roll band."
