Adele Sebastian was unfortunately only allowed to make 1 LP. This jazz musician died of kidney disease on September 30, 1983. A big loss because this American lady made jazz with an instrument that is unusual for jazz, namely a flute. The combination with her backing band consisting of Billy Higgins on drums, Robert Miranda on bass, Bobby West on piano, Rickey Kelley on marimbas and "Daoude" Woods on percussion delivers an exciting mix. In addition, it is a good recording. The first song on this LP "Desert fairy princess" perfectly shows the musical talents of Adele Sebastian. The entire band plays percussion on "Man from Tanganiyka" by Mcoy Tyner. Desert Fairy Princess is a good LP with surprising music and worth a heart.
